Soft but narrow neck and some clumping
By J from wellington on 7 March 2012
This is a fabulous soft bag. Easy to wash and can tumble dry low. Great for kids EXCEPT for the really close fitting neck. We have sewn the top flaps of the bag open as it rubs under the children's chins if done up. Also we have found that the fill settles in clumps after washing. However still seems to be warm and toasty.
My daughters strength isn't sleeping - love Ergopouch
By Stephanie and Reece from Whakatane on 7 March 2012
I've owned 4 Ergo pouches now and have just ordered 2 more winter weight of the next size 12-36mths. Have tried with a grobag, but my daughter seems to like the security and closeness this bag provides. I graduated her from a Miracle blanket, to a miracle blanket inside a Ergopouch, then a Ergo pouch inside a Miracle Blanket which she remains in at 16 months. I did find the 3.5 tog a little warm last year with the miracle blanket and a panel heater in her room and am pleased to see a 2.5tog, which would have suited the situation better. They're so soft. I was tempted by the soft jersey lining of the grobag in summer as the bamboo sheeting of the 1.0tog Ergopouch seemed a bit 'coarse' on bare skin without winter PJs and a bit thick with the miracle blanket over top. The Grobag was very thin and perhaps not as comfortable for lying on top of a Safety Sleep which tends to bundle up a little even when tightly applied to a mattress. And yes I've tried no miracle blanket, which she's had since NB, which equates to no sleep, so that remains work in progress.
Ergopouch - Organic 3.5

I have used this bag all winter for my 11 month old son. It's been great to throw in the wash after accidents or for it's regular wash. I have always washed it on a delicate cycle and dried in dryer but the filling is quite separated inside in some places. I'm not sure how much this affects the warmth - seems to be fine still. Love the 2 way zip for nappy checks and changes!

my favourite! soft and warm
It's fab
By Pam from Christchurch on 26 August 2011
I bought one of these a few weeks ago for my daughter and it's fab. The first night she seemed to think it was a bit small- as it's not as wide as her previous sleeping bag, but then she loved it. It's great that it's so snuggly around the neck and she is all cosy when I take her back out. And I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived! Ordered it lunchtime one day and it was down here in ChCh by the next morning-wow.
Highly recommended

I own a few sleeping bags, (Merino, organic, etc) you name it, I probably have it. But the Ergo Pouch is my favourite, for the following reasons:
1. Warm and snuggly-out of all the ones we have its the warmest one out of them all, without it being stuffy. Our house is an old villa, so it gets pretty cold. it is super snuggly. Bub loves wearing his. (I want one for myself)
2. easy to wash -no special instrucitons with washing it. Just throw it in the wash and chuck it in the dryer. Easy washing even hubby can do it.
3. Great price point.- There are plenty of expensive sleeping bags out there, I own a few. However, this one I have to say is true value for money.
If you are thinking about a true winter sleeping bag for your bub, get this. It is by far the warmest and snuggliest bag without breaking the bank, You can get 2 and it will still be cheaper than the higer end ones in the market.
Only thing is-wish they made one for mums too. :)
Best sleeping bag

LOVE this sleeping bag. Has been so good for winter keeping my little boy warm. A great price as well compared to some of the others. I have a Gogo bag for summer and this for winter.
