Our 3 Seasons sleeping bag must be the most versatile sleeping bag available! It can be used from 18 to 30 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal for day sleeps year round, and night from spring through to autumn.
It is made from 2 layers of gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe! It is suitable for babies with eczema or sensitive skin, as it is so soft and does not feel at all woolly or scratchy.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.
The Front Zip means you open out the bag down the front, with no domes to undo. We love the ease of a front-zip bag! They are also far better for toddlers, as they are less escape proof (older babies and toddlers can learn to ’pop’ open bags with shoulder domes).
This was was previously called the woolbabe ’lightweight’ bag, so some swing tags and labels may still have the ’lightweight’ description..
Outer fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian wool/ 70% cotton.
Inner fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian wool/ 70% cotton.
Toffee Apple - cherry red and natural stripe.
This woolbabe can be used in your carseat or buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front and a travel slot in the back of the bag.
Front zip or side zip woolbabe?
We find a bag witha front zipper is much easier to use and the front zip woolbabe is our most favourite bag in our whole range! Simply pop your baby in and zip downwards (zips end at the bottom). Bags with front zips are the most robust for wriggly babies or toddlers who may be able to pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.
The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag.
The 3-24 (months measured shoulder to bottom) - 95cm. Domes under the arms for a snug fit with babies 3-6 months.
Toddler size to fit children 2-4 yrs (from12kg) - (measured shoulder to bottom) - 117cm
All woolbabe sleeping bags have been tested and rated LOW FIRE DANGER.
Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid woolwash. You can also low tumble dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying.

I purchased the toddler sized Woolbabe 3 seasons front zip bag. Price & service/ delivery time were excellent as always.
I love the quality & colour of the fabric and the bag has been designed really well & carefully.
Washed well and didn't take too long to dry.
The 2-way zip would be great for nappy changes, and I like how the end of the zip is covered to prevent scratching bubs' neck.
Previously we had Merino Kids go-go bags for our boy. He occasionally woke up with his leg jammed through the front travel/seatbelt slot in the go-go bag, the woolbabe one seems to be better designed (only has a slot at the back, and it's covered by a natty little tab)
I prefer the softer bound neckline of the go-go bag. The size tag on the woolbabe is scratchy and will need to be removed.
Really a "4.5 out of 5" rating, I'd certainly recommend this one.

We have two Woolbabe Sleeping bags for our 2 year old, one with the front zip and no domes on the shoulders and one with a side zip (non travel one) with domes on the shoulder. I wish I had seen this one first, as it's fantastic because our wee boy is still in it when he wakes up. Why you ask, well it's because there are no domes to yank open, therefore he doesn't feel the need to find the zip and take it off. I would have bought two of these if I hadn't bought the dome and side zip one a couple of weeks beforehand. Love it the front zip and no domes bag for sure. I even think the Woolbabe bags are better then the Merino Kids bags of which we had 2 from birth until he turned two.
