Our Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleeping bags available! It’s the only bag in world which uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth and temperature regulation, as most winter bags are filled with a synthetic polyester or cotton wadding.
It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal from autumn through till spring, and cooler nights in summer.
The outside layer is gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe!
The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, which gives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties. It has the feel of a duvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in this heavier feeling of wool. The weight of the filling also means less wriggling for a lot of children.
The duvet woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% cotton lining, which is soft and smooth against your baby’s skin.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.
This was was previously called the woolbabe ’winter’ bag, so this may still be on some swing tags and labels.
Outer fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian merino/ 70% cotton.
Filling is 100% Australian wool
Lining is 100% cotton (white in all options)
Moon Dust - soft grey and natural stripe.
This woolbabe can be used in your carseat or buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front and a travel slot in the back of the bag.
Front zip or side zip woolbabe?
We find a bag with a front zipper is much easier to use and the duvet front zip woolbabe is our most favourite bag in our whole range! Simply pop your baby in and zip downwards (zips end at the bottom). Bags with front zips are the most robust for wriggly babies or toddlers who may be able to pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.
The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag.
The 3-24 (months measured shoulder to bottom) - 95cm. Domes under the arms for a snug fit with babies 3-6 months.
Toddler size to fit children 2-4 yrs (from 12kg) - (measured shoulder to bottom) - 117cm
All woolbabe sleeping bags have been tested and rated LOW FIRE DANGER.
Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid woolwash. You can also low tumble dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying.

Thank you so much - sleeping bag arrived the next day! Plus my son is finally sleeping through the night 13 HOURS!!! (because now he can't kick his covers off and get cold in the middle of the night) HURRAHHHHH!!
We are very happy parents! Thanks again

I adore our duvet woolbabe.. its'a lovely heavy cosy feeling bag and the way merino can take the odd nappy leak or spill up and hang on for another while before washing is so brilliant!! We have the 3-24mth and it fits fabulously on our 5mth old and has LOADS of length, so will get plenty of use as he grows!! He's never cold at all, and has only woken once a night since having it.

The best sleeping bag I've tried for my little man. Amazing quality and love that it is all natural fibres. Keeps him so nice and warm and snuggly all night long. Wonder if they make adult ones...?!

So cosy and soft. On the nights that start warmish then go really cold in the middle of the night, I put our little one into hers unzipped, then zip it up before we go to bed. Wouldn't be without it.

This sleeping bag is probably the best purchase I have made for my 4 month old. He would always kick off his blankets 2 or 3 times in the night and would wake up because he was cold. Since we've had the sleeping bag he seems to stir less and I have the peace of mind that he will stay snug and warm all night, he suffers from eczema and because merino regulates his temperature he doesn't overheat, and because the merino is lined with cotton it doesn't aggrevate his eczema either.

Fantastic sleeping bag, we use it all year around in Dunedin as nights can be cold even in the summer. My baby went into it at 7 months and is still happily sleeping at 18 months. The sleeping bag still looks like new despite everyday use! The length is great, it is one of the longer bags available which means it lasts longer as kids grow. Plus the warmth is amazing - my son is toasty warm even when the temperature in his room goes down to 15 overnight. Thoroughly recommend it!
