Our Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleeping bags available! It’s the only bag in world which uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth and temperature regulation, as most winter bags are filled with a synthetic polyester or cotton wadding.
It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal from autumn through till spring, and cooler nights in summer.
The outside layer is gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe!
The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, which gives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties. It has the feel of a duvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in this heavier feeling of wool. The weight of the filling also means less wriggling for a lot of children.
The duvet woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% cotton lining, which is soft and smooth against your baby’s skin.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.
This was was previously called the woolbabe ’winter’ bag, so this may still be on some swing tags and labels.
Outer fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian merino/ 70% cotton.
Filling is 100% Australian wool
Lining is 100% cotton (white in all options)
Toffee Apple - red and natural stripe.
This woolbabe can be used in your carseat or buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front and a travel slot in the back of the bag.
Front zip or side zip woolbabe?
We find a bag with a front zipper is much easier to use and the duvet front zip woolbabe is our most favourite bag in our whole range! Simply pop your baby in and zip downwards (zips end at the bottom). Bags with front zips are the most robust for wriggly babies or toddlers who may be able to pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.
The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag.
The 3-24 months (measured shoulder to bottom) - 95cm. Domes under the arms for a snug fit with babies 3-6 months.
Toddler size to fit children 2-4 yrs (from 12kg) - (measured shoulder to bottom) - 117cm
All woolbabe sleeping bags have been tested and rated LOW FIRE DANGER.
Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid woolwash. You can also low tumble dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying.

I ordered the front-zip duvet woolbabe from Canada after looking for a toasty but not scratchy wool sleepsack that would last our baby for a long time. This one has been perfect. We got it when our daughter was 4 months old. It looked huge on her then, but it still fit thanks to the clever side snaps under the armpits. Now our baby is 7 months old and she has worn this almost every night, and seems to really like it. We are planning to get the mid-weight one for the summer months. I highly recommend this product for anyone who lives in colder temperatures.

We have tried several polyester sleeping bags for our son and I have to take him out of them about half way through the night and wrap him up in blankets to keep him warm during the hours of 2am - 5am. This is the only sleeping bag that I can leave him in all night. I love the domes under the arms to make the fit more snug on our 7 month old and really appreciate the two-way zip. Its fantastic. Wish I had started with this one.

We purchased both a front and a side zip duvet Woolbabe for our son when we moved him into a cot. What a fantastic sleeping bag the Woolbabe is! Our son can no longer kick off his covers and the duvet Woolbabe helps to keep his body the perfect temperature while he sleeps. We also have two 3 Seasons Woolbabes and we love these too. The Woolbabes are a top quality sleeping bag and we love that they can be machine washed and tumble dried.

We were recommended one of these through the facebook site. It is life changing! Our daughter was getting cold and also getting her self completely sideways in her cot and waking up when she hit herself on the sides of her cot. From the night that we got this - no problems. Plus she knows it's sleep time when she gets into it! Got a lighter one as a part of a special too.
