Awesome for transitioning to arms out
By Nic from Wyndham on 27 January 2013
I have twin boys who are champion rollers. At 4 months we wanted to get them out of their wombies and into sleeping bags, but they became unsettled with their arms out and stopped sleeping.
So, I purchased two ergo pouches and we took one arm out at a time and after a few days, the boys could sleep with both arms out.
They are fantastic, wash well, are great in the heat and allowed us to finally get the boys out of full wraps.
A life saver :)
ErgoCocoon

Super product. Was much too hot for his merino wrap and he kept kicking his way out of it anyway. The Ergo Cocoon is great for the hot weather while preventing baby from startling himself awake.
Best wrap

This is such a great wrap i now own 2 and swear by them makes putting the little man to sleep easier as he would normally kick his wrap of himself and wake up but we no longer have that problem Thank you : )

Love this product, have brought two other swaddles this week but were either to hot or his arms were to free. The ErgoCocoon is cool for these summer months and keeps him swaddled enough not to wake himself but enough room to move into a comfy position. Also love the fact that when winter comes along it will be easy to transition from swaddling to a sleeping bag with the dome close arm holes.
Fabulous product

Fantastic product, it was too hot to wrap our 2 month old up too snugly and this lets her move around a little and stretch out. Particularly helpful to transfer her to the carseat if asleep, just unzip from the bottom to free her legs and pop her arms out to the sleeping bag position. Love that it's multi-functional as a standard sleeping bag as well once she doesn't require swaddling any more. Highly recommended - no more fiddly folding/wrapping, just zip and you're done - particularly good for the grandparents to master!

great wrap, i have the 2-6 month one. really easy to use, and love that you can wean them off wrapping by putting one arm out at a time. also good when they first wake up as you can put their arms out without waking. on the larger size for my 4 month old so when he is really colicy we resort to our wrap me up still, but on a good day they work perfectly!
great product for newborn babes and the first few months

We realised quite early on that our little guy liked to be swaddled while sleeping, and slept much better when he was. However, we found it quite difficult to consistently do a good swaddle that he couldn't escape from and then wake himself up. This solved that problem. Quick and easy to zip him in and get him ready for bed, no hassling with trying to get the swaddle right. He is now 10 months and we are transitioning him to sleeping with arms out, with the intention of moving to a sleeping bag soon.
Great product!

Excellent lightweight option for my houdini baby! I love these so much I have bought 3, and have already passed on the small one to a pregnant girlfriend. I am, however, slightly disappointed in the quality of the fabric. The area under the chin and on the back under the leg area has pilled surprisingly quickly and one of the sleeping bags also had stitching (holding the zip in place) that needed mending. Wouldn't stop me recommending them though.
Even for a toddler!

I have just bought a 3-12 month size ergo cocoon for my average sized (10.5kg) 14 month old boy. He's only been sleeping in his own cot for a few weeks and is still wrapped with his arms in (and a SafeT Sleep to stop him rolling). I just thought others might want to know that it really does fit up to the 11kg weight range - he is nice and snug but doesn't hit the end yet! Although he probably won't need swaddling for that long, I can imagine it would last size-wise for several more months.
