No, Motion InBra™ is a single-user product.
What’s the difference between the two pumping rhythms (stimulation & expression phase)?
2-Phase Expression™ technology mimics babies’ natural sucking rhythm – faster at first to stimulate milk flow, then slower to feed – for more comfortable and efficient pumping.
Is Motion InBra™ a closed-system pump?
The Motion InBra™ Breast Pump is designed with a milk barrier (membrane) that is placed at the breast shield within the container to keep milk from entering the motor unit. By market definition, Motion InBra™ is a closed system breast pump.
What is the difference between Motion InBra™ and Magic InBra™ breast pump?
Motion InBra™ and Magic InBra™ are both wearable pumps, designed to be comfortable and discreet.

Does Motion InBra™ track volume of breast milk pumped?

If Motion InBra™ is a closed system, how can we explain to moms that it is a personal use pump and cannot be used by more than one person?
A breast pump with a milk barrier is known as a closed system. The Motion InBra™ yellow membrane acts as a barrier and prevents the milk overflowing and leaking into the pump mechanism, and helps ensure your expressed milk travels through a hygienic route. However, a closed system doesn't mean it is safe and hygienic for multiple users. Medela personal-use breast pumps are designed as single-user products, and have not been designed to be shared between mothers. On the other hand, multi-user pumps such as Symphony has an additional protective membrane barrier at the pump protecting milk from entering the pump system. It has been tested and validated as a multi-user pump, for long-term use. In addition, like computers or other electronic products, an electric breast pump has a limited lifetime- if mums use an electronic pump that has been used beyond its lifetime, there is no guarantee that it will generate as much speed and vacuum as it did earlier in its life.
How can I clean and dry the Motion InBra™ pump parts?

What kind of battery do I need for the pump?
You don't need to buy any battery as a rechargeable battery is built-in within the device. It is a Li-Ion battery.
Motion InBra™ comes with a built-in USB-chargeable battery.
How can I tell when my battery is drained?
Battery Icon appears on the display and here below is a simple guide to understand the battery status of the pump:
When the pump is plugged into the charger:
- All battery indicators blinking signify that the battery is charging.
- Steady lights indicate that the battery is fully charged.
When the pump is NOT plugged into the charger:
- Steady light indicates that the battery level is sufficient to operate for approximately 150 minutes.
- Steady light indicates that the battery level is sufficient to operate for approximately 100 minutes.
- Steady light indicates that the battery level is sufficient to operate for approximately 65 minutes.
- Flashing light indicates that the battery level is critically low, with approximately 30 minutes of operation remaining.
How long does Motion InBra™’s battery last on one charge?
Motion InBra™'s battery lasts up to 2.5h of pumping on single full charge, or up to 10 pumping sessions. Note: duration of one pumping session is on average 15 min. Therefore, With 2.5h on a single charge, it is 10 sessions.
How long does it take to charge Motion InBra™?
It may take Motion InBra™ up to 2.5 hours to fully charge. The battery icon will indicate when the breast pump is fully charged.
Could I buy the rechargeable battery separately?
No, it's an in-built rechargeable battery and cannot be changed or repaired.
Do I have to fully charge the battery before using Motion InBra™ for the first time?
We recommend fully charging the battery before using Motion InBra™ for the first time until the three bars on the battery indicator are steadily on: ca. 2.5h.
Can I use the Motion InBra™ while it's charging?
No, it is not possible to use the breast pump while it is charging.
What do the different buttons indicate on the pump?
- On/Off/Pause button - Long press and hold to turn on / off. Short press to pause, then press any button to continue your pumping session.
- Let-down button - To switch between Stimulation and Expression Phase.
- Decrease vacuum button.
- Increase vacuum button.
