This multi award-winning extra special Woolbabe for little ones who need a wider sleeping bag. One of our customers couldn't find a sleeping bag to fit a hip harness, so we worked together to design the perfect sleeping bag to accommodate a harness or brace. It has a generous width (at 80 cm 3-24mth and 85cm 2-4yr) and a side zip that opens down the side and right round the bottom of the bag. It can be opened from the top or bottom, so night nappy changing is a breeze!

The multi award-winning Side Zip Duvet Woolbabe is one of our most popular warm winter sleeping bag, much loved for being so easy to use and so cosy. They are ideal for bedrooms under 20 degrees, though they can be used in rooms 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag.

Ideal for autumn through to spring for most of Australasia, and even summer nights in cooler homes. The Duvet Woolbabe has the heavier feel of a quilt or layers of wool blankets, with the peace of mind that comes with your baby sleeping in a sleeping bag designed with safety as a priority.

The Side Zip model is very quick and easy to use, just snap up the shoulders and zip it around to under the right arm. The under-arm snaps means it is a more cosy fit when your baby it near the bottom end of the size range.

This woolbabe has a double-ended zip that fully opens down the side and across the bottom for easy nappy changing. You can also use your Duvet Woolbabe Bag for cosy walks in your buggy, using the back buggy slot with your a 5-point harness.

Fire Safety

This product complies with the Product Safety Standard (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear Having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2016 and Safety Standard AS/NZS 1249:2014 (Children's Nightwear and Limited Daywear having Reduced Fire Hazard).

Outer & Inner - 70% Certified Organic Cotton, 30% Australian Merino Wool - Total 360gsm
YKK zip and press snaps - nickle free

Care -

Gentle machine or hand wash in cold water or 30°C water using a quality liquid wool wash
Airing your Woolbabe item daily will reduce how often it needs to be washed
Do not hot wash, rub, soak or bleach
Hang dry or low tumble dry immediately after washing - Do not leave wet in your machine
Do not hot tumble dry
Please note some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying. Not all dryers have a low enough temperature setting. Please check your machines specs before choosing this option.

Please note that the World Health Organisation recommend that children do not sleep in rooms colder than 16°C, so we recommend using a heater on low if your children's room get below 16°C

- This is a guide only. It is important not to overheat your baby. The best guide is to consider whether the heating, bedding and clothing would add up to a comfortable sleeping temperature for you. The ideal room temperature for children is 18 to 20 degrees Celsius, with 18 degrees considered perfect! Please consult your medical professional for further advice if required.
