The Finnson Rae Changing Backpack is a stylish hybrid backpack that can be worn three ways - on your back, held as a tote or attached to your stroller. It’s adjustable back straps unclip for easy pram/stroller attachment, giving you the ultimate unisex hands free bag with minimal fuss. Expertly crafted in 100% certified recycled PET Polyester, the Rae changing backpack features water repellent external and internal materials. It even comes with a padded changing mat in black!

This bag is great while out and about. It's lightweight weighing 0.67kg and measures 41 x 31 x 18cm. It's made with durable recycled materials and is easy to care for with the water resistant and wipeable exterior and interior. The compartments allow you to have a space for all your essentials, keeping you organised - 4 internal pockets (including 1 zipped pocket) and 1 large pocket on the outside. It has a sturdy zip closure and has additional d-rings if wanting to attach optional stroller clips (not included).

About Finnson's Sustainable Design

Less resources - Recycled Polyester (rPet) uses less natural resources than regular polyester while retaining many of its durable characteristics, meaning it’s a great choice for long life products but far less intensive to produce. rPet is less damaging for the environment & reduces landfill

rPet has:

90% less C02 footprint than nylon
75% less C02 footprint than polyester
50% less C02 footprint than organic cotton

Less landfill - Eight million tons of plastic enter the ocean every year. If we continue at this pace, by 2050 the ocean will have more plastic than fish. By using recycled polyester, we are finding ways to prevent non-biodegradable materials from ending up in landfill, or our oceans, and giving them a new life.

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals): Our fabric and trims meet REACH standards which mean they are non toxic and free from harmful chemicals.
FSC ( Forest Stewardship Council) Responsible forestry, helping to care for future forests: All our labels are FSC certified

Our process - As a brand strongly focused on sustainable design we aim to be transparent and as open as possible about our manufacturing processes. We’re constantly striving to minimise our carbon footprint by ensuring our products are manufactured in the same country of origin as our raw material source, as well as working with our suppliers to minimise social risk.

Our factory - We work directly with one small factory in Guangzhou, China, where all our products are manufactured. They are SEDEX certified and BSCI accredited and work to a high ethical standard. They have an annual 3rd party audit using social auditing methods and reporting provided by amfori BSCI.

Inventory Management - Often fashion brands buy stock with the intention of only achieving a 40% sell through at full price, with the rest planned for sale (as it’s cheaper to buy in larger volumes). Our production runs are small and we aim to minimise waste by only producing what we need, with a view to sell out quickly. While this means we pay a higher cost price per unit, it ensures we do not overproduce, reducing excess stock and ultimately wastage.

Care: Extend the lifecycle of your changing backpack & change mat - Spot clean with a damp sponge or cloth Use a mild detergent if needed Do not machine wash Avoid overfilling your bag to prevent your stroller from tipping over Please do not hang by the grab handles. There are two ways to attach Rae to your pram - 1. Specially designed D-rings located at the side of the bag are for attaching stroller clips 2. The main padded straps can hang over your buggy and clip into place.

Free 30 min Click & Collect (AKL): From our West Auckland warehouse. Order before 4pm for pick up by 5pm. Click & Collect open 9.00am – 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Same Day Dispatch: We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1:00pm NZT, Monday to Friday, on the same business day. This excludes public holidays and high order volume promotional periods.

Delivery times: Most NZ orders arrive overnight (business days only). South Island allow up to 3 business days. Large deliveries will take longer. AU Delivery time is approx 3-6 working days into main cities, and 5-7 working days outside main centres. We cannot guarantee any of these times.

Standard Delivery: Free on orders over $120 (excluding bulky items). Shipping starts at $8 (within NZ) and $15 (to AU) based on weight and postcode.
