Make the move from swaddling to arms-free sleep a little easier with the Love to Dream Swaddle Up 2-in-1 Transition Bag Hip Harness 1.0 TOG. Specially designed for babies being treated for hip dysplasia, this clever transition bag combines the familiar comfort of a snug swaddle with extra room to accommodate a hip harness or brace.

When your baby starts showing signs of rolling, it's time to transition to arms-free sleep. The patented zip-off wings allow you to remove one wing at a time, helping your little one gradually adjust to sleeping with their arms free while maintaining a familiar bedtime routine.

Designed with a wider fit around the hips and legs, this transition bag can be worn over selected hip dysplasia harnesses and braces, including the Pavlik Harness, Denis Browne Bar and Rhino Brace. Its hip-healthy design allows for the recommended hip and leg positioning, with approval from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and Healthy Hips Australia.

Made from soft, stretchy cotton-rich fabric, the 1.0 TOG design is ideal for moderate room temperatures between 20°C and 24°C. A single layer of fabric helps reduce the risk of overheating, while the convenient two-way zip makes overnight nappy changes quick and easy.

This product complies with the Product Safety Standard (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear Having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2016 and Safety Standard AS/NZS 1249:2014 (Children's Nightwear and Limited Daywear having Reduced Fire Hazard).

What is a TOG rating?

TOG stands for 'Thermal Overall
Grade', which is a unit of measurement used to calculate the thermal
insulation of a product, usually in the textile industry. Love to Dream sleep
garments are given a TOG rating according to the warmth they provide.
Basically, the higher the TOG, the warmer the product.

To help parents understand which TOG
values are right for differing room temperatures, a set of guidelines
has been established as per below:

0.2 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 24°C and 27°C
1.0 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 20°C and 24°C
2.5 TOG - ideal for room temperatures between 16°C and 20°C
3.5 TOG - ideal for room temperatures below 16°C

The table below provides you with the guidelines around how to dress your baby based on the room temperatures.

The table is only a guide. All
babies are different. The number of clothing layers may vary
according to a baby's health, their physiology and the room temperature
in the room. The care-giver must determine what is suitable.

Note: It is important to check your baby regularly to ensure that they are comfortable and that they do not overheat.
